Kiosk Number 6 - Project Begins
The drawings are nearly ready and the first lengths of timber arrived today, I can begin measuring out and build the base for the phone box this week. The base will allow me to bottom out all my dimensions for the drawings. The remaining wood comes next week and I have some time booked off work to have fun building. I'll resurrect my dads old wood plane, not been used in 25 years or more.
The drawings using MS Visio and actual measurements from my pals real phone box are looking pretty good. The replica I'm building should look like the real thing, however, some of the wall thicknesses will be less. We'll have to see how it turns out. I'm still thinking on the window methods, do I do individual windows or one pane covered by the framework. We shall see.
